Privacy Policy

TwoStepper — Walk first. Scroll later.

TwoStepper is built by LittyLabz LLC. We believe your data is your business — and we designed TwoStepper to keep it that way. This Privacy Policy explains what information TwoStepper handles, where it goes, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

The Short Version

We don't ask you to create an account. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you. The information TwoStepper uses stays on your device or — if you enable Apple's iCloud sync — moves between your devices through Apple's own secure services. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information.

What TwoStepper Uses

To make the app work, TwoStepper uses:

  • Your step count from Apple Health, so we know when you've earned an app unlock.
  • The preferences and goals you set during setup — for example, your step goal and the kinds of apps you want to lock — so we can personalize your experience.
  • Your selections of which apps to lock, handled through Apple's privacy-preserving Screen Time system. Apple keeps these selections private; we don't see which specific apps you chose.
  • Your in-app purchase status, so we know whether you have an active subscription or lifetime access.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. No account, no sign-up, no profile.

Where Your Information Lives

Your information stays on your device. If you've enabled iCloud, your progress may sync between your Apple devices through Apple's secure cloud services so you can pick up where you left off. We do not receive a copy. LittyLabz LLC has no ability to identify you or access your data through Apple's sync services.

Apple Health

TwoStepper reads your daily step count from Apple Health so we can credit your unlocks. We do not write data back to Apple Health. You can revoke Health access at any time in your device's Health settings.

Screen Time / App Locking

TwoStepper uses Apple's privacy-preserving Screen Time system to lock the apps you choose. Apple stores your selections in a way that hides the specific app identities from TwoStepper and from LittyLabz LLC. We can only see whether something is locked or unlocked — not what.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, TwoStepper may send you reminders or progress nudges. These are generated and scheduled on your device. You can disable them at any time in Settings.

Game Center and Leaderboards

If you opt into Game Center, TwoStepper submits your step counts to Apple so they can appear on daily, weekly, all-time, and streak leaderboards. Your identity on Game Center is handled by Apple using the display name and privacy settings you've configured in iOS — LittyLabz LLC never sees your real identity. You control what other Game Center users can see about you through your iOS Game Center privacy settings. You can disable Game Center at any time, and your scores stop being submitted.

In-App Purchases

All payments are processed by Apple. We do not see or store your payment information. We receive only the status of your purchase (whether you have an active subscription or lifetime access). Apple's own privacy practices apply to the payment itself; please consult Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Analytics and Tracking

TwoStepper does not include any analytics, advertising, attribution, or third-party tracking tools. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not build profiles of you. We have no interest in tracking you.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your information to any third parties. Period.

Children's Privacy

TwoStepper is rated 4+ on the App Store. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, there is no special risk to children's data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or any age) because we do not collect personal information at all. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of TwoStepper, including any leaderboard participation through Game Center.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Revoke Apple Health access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
  • Revoke Screen Time access in Settings → Screen Time.
  • Disable notifications in Settings → Notifications → TwoStepper.
  • Disable Game Center in Settings → Game Center.
  • Manage or cancel purchases in your Apple ID Subscription settings.
  • Delete TwoStepper to remove all local data from your device. Any iCloud-synced data tied to your Apple ID follows Apple's standard retention and deletion behavior.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
